H D Bailey grew up in rural Western New York. He was introduced to Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time at ten, and has been reading and writing fantasy ever since. He is a graduate of Hiram College, where he studied Chemistry. Since graduating, he has worked in manufacturing in multiple high technology industries. He currently lives in Michigan with his wife and children.
