In Pigeon Fork, Kentucky, money talks. When Maedean Puckett asks Haskell to keep her under a 24-hour-a-day surveillence to prove to her husband that she isn't cheating, Haskell takes the job and is happy for the cash flow. But when Maedean's husband turns up dead, Haskell realizes that he is Maedean's alibi and feels compelled to investigate on his own.
