Hans Boersma was the J. I. Packer Professor of Theology from 2005–2019. Before coming to Regent, he taught for six years at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC from 1999–2005. He also served as a pastor for several years (1994–1998). Among Boersma's main theological interests are Catholic thought, the church fathers, and spiritual interpretation of Scripture. He and his wife Linda live in Langley, BC. They attend Saint Matthew's Anglican Church in Abbotsford, BC.
