Ben Dowling loves living in quaint, little Rowley, Pennsylvania, even with all its faults and idiosyncrasies. But something terrible is brewing in the usually quiet town. A mysterious mist arrives one day out of nowhere, and with it comes a creature out of nightmare. The Harbinger, a spirit created by man’s most primal evil urges, feeds on all the hatred, all the petty rivalries and all the depression and fear that the citizens of Rowley bury in their hearts. The Harbinger is killing the townspeople one by one, and turning neighbor against neighbor in its ultimate goal of death, madness and destruction. Ben must rise above the Harbinger’s influence with the help of his childhood sweetheart, Elise. The young couple, with their love for each other and for Rowley, is the only thing standing between the creature and their town’s doom.
