Part of Series

Disillusioned and bitter, Boyd Pitman wants a wife who is not looking for love. She must be prepared to live on his isolated Colorado ranch to provide the assistance he needs. His previous mail-order bride fiasco has emotionally crippled him, and he is not prepared to put his heart in jeopardy again. Betrayed by a man who should have protected her and their unborn child, Harriet is on the run from a fanatical sect and a ruthless railway tycoon. All she wants is a place to hide, and if it means having to take a husband who will never love her, it is a price she is prepared to pay. Will these two wounded souls ever be able to find love and fulfilment together?
