Even though he was born in California, Harrison grew up in Colorado in a mountain community 12 miles west of Castle Rock. His first exposure to the fantasy genre was "The Hobbit". So thoroughly did he enjoy it that he dove right into "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and vowed that he would one day write his own fantasy novel. Now this wish has come to a reality with "The Sword of Ghespi". It is an easy to read, fast paced novel filled with adventures, sword fights, wizardry, army battles and romance. More novels are in the works as Harrison employes his vivid imagination to thrill readers that enjoy the genre. Currently he is working on "The Talisman of Fendor"
