HARRY A. MILMAN, PhD is a toxicologist, pharmacologist and expert witness. His latest book — "FORENSICS: The Science Behind the Deaths of Famous People" — describes how coroners determined the cause and manner of death of 23 famous people including Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Natalie Wood, Janis Joplin, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Carrie Fisher, and many more. Dr. Milman has also published two novels—the wildly successful and award-winning political thriller, "A Death at Camp David," and "SOYUZ: The Final Flight", a finalist for Best Second Novel in the 2018 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. As an expert witness, Dr. Milman has assisted in over 300 civil, criminal, and high-profile cases involving drug overdoses, pharmacy errors, toxic chemicals, carcinogens, and assaults. Before becoming an expert witness, Dr. Milman was a research scientist at the US National Cancer Institute, NIH, and a senior toxicologist at the US Environmental Protection Agency. His scientific publications include over seventy articles and five books including the highly acclaimed "Handbook of Carcinogen Testing." Dr. Milman resides in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC.
