Hassan Loo Sattarvandi is a Iranian-Swedish author who grew up in Hagalund in Greater Stockholm. His debut Still (Style) was published in 2008 and depicts the lives of a few young working class men in Hagalund. It received the Swedish Katapultpriset i 2009 for the best debut the previous year. His second novel Belägring (Siege) came out in 2011.
