Candy Canes, Corpses and the Gothic Haunt
2017
House flippers Jack & Juniper are planning to ring in the New Year slinging tapas, vino and beer in their latest purchase, an old Victorian mansion that they've transformed into Bohemian Lake's first Inn &Taproom, but the mansion's poltergeist is out to dash their merriment with mean-spirited sabotage. Having laid otherworldly rumors to rest before, Juniper is skeptical, but the alarms aren't going off and, besides, who else would want to throw a wrench into the works—Jack's ex-girlfriend, another business owner, or the local historian who's scheduled a town meeting to protest the flippers' plans for the home. When the mischief turns deadly, Juniper calls in a part-time paranormal investigator but the man's discoveries leave her thinking that her problem is more personal than paranormal.
Between the Christmas holidays and training her new staff, Juniper doesn't have time to track down a murderer, but with the "ghost of the manor" constantly coming out of the woodwork, she doesn't have much choice. Opening day is fast approaching and the "woman in white" has led her to yet another stiff in the cellar. Now Junie and her merry band of Bohemians must nail down a murderer—before their Christmas goose is cooked.
It's the most wonderful time to get wrapped up in a spirited holiday murder! The corpses are piling up, and there's a Grinch out there riling up the town against the new Gothic Inn. It's the most wonderful time to break-in!

The doctor convinces Juniper the only way he and his murdered bride Victoria—the ghost of the Gothic Inn—can move on is if Juniper solves the one-hundred-year mystery of their murder-suicide. Juniper is up to her elbows in drywall dust and leaky plumbing but she soon discovers her real problems may come from the living—those interested in keeping history in the past.

Crème Eggs Corpses and the Farmhouse Fixer Upper
2019
After a shooting occurs at the Farmhouse Fixer Upper, Bohemian Lake's favorite house flippers follow the clues down the rabbit hole—an old asylum-turned-art-studio, and what they find is most haunting.
House Flippers Jack & Juniper have invited Junie's art enthusiast family to stay with them at their latest purchase—a romantic old farmhouse in a pastoral setting, where the Bohemian Lake Art Council & Festival Committee are holding the Alice in Easter Land Egg Hunt & Auction.
The only problem, Juniper has to collect the Auction's main bid—one of the Romanov's recovered Imperial Easter Eggs from a haunted asylum-turned-creative-space where a poltergeist has latched itself onto the rare piece of work. What's worse than that? Interacting with her dad's new girlfriend, the snooty art specialist who procured it.
With the holiday dinner fast approaching, bodies pile higher than goodies in an Easter basket and they all point to the possibility that there's a bad egg at the table. The world of art in Bohemian Lake paints a very abstract two-sided picture where no one and no thing is what they seem.
Crème Eggs, Corpses and the Farmhouse Fixer Upper is the eleventh book in the Bohemian Lake Series, and it's the fourth of the series dedicated to the haunted house flippers. While the series is best enjoyed in order, each book is a complete mystery on its own. For those of you who are new to my books, the Bohemian Lake series is a world comprised of multiple sets. Each set focuses on a different Bohemian resident(s), although all of the books intersect.

Jack & Juniper are back, ripping up old carpets & exposing the secrets beneath in Black Cats, Corpses & the Pumpkin Pantry, Rachael Stapleton's fifth installment in the hilarious Bohemian Lake mystery series.
House flippers Jack & Juniper agree to fix up the Von Tassel mansion, an old Dutch farmhouse estate known as Sleepy Hollow, which happens to be hosting this year's Haunted Pumpkin Patch festivities. They're expecting old carpets, and warped posts, not a revolutionary war ghost.
But when some of Bohemian Lake's local teens come across a body in the pumpkin patch, they nearly lose their heads.
Juniper thinks the headless horseman is just a silly ghost story. Until the body turns out to belong to a missing local. After that, another death occurs with a scandalous connection to the Sleepy Hollow Estate. Now rumors of the Hessian soldier once again rise up from the grave and gallop across the lips of the Bohemian locals.
It's up to Juniper and her friends to chase down the town's notorious killer. Will they be treated to a Halloween beheading or is this all a trick?

Christmas, Corpses and the Gingerdead Flip Flop
2020
Click to find out how the Haunted House Flippers got their start hammering out mysteries in Bohemian Lake? It's a good old-fashioned holiday prequel. \This short story was previously published in the Christmas Cookie Cozies.*
Part-time fashion model, and nailgun-toting entrepreneur, Juniper Palmer, is visiting her boyfriend's hometown for the Christmas season where they’ve purchased a colorful Queen Anne to fix and flip. Juniper’s looking forward to carols and cocktails at the neighbor’s party to make her spirits bright, but as the night kicks off, so does someone else, and he didn't even finish his cookies and milk. It’s never good when the man in red turns blue, especially when it leaves someone Juniper loves on the PD's naughty list.
With a little help from her friends, and the ghost of a gingerbread man-past, Juniper must nail down a killer before her flight to Paris jets off without her. Junie’s closing in, but not everyone's happy with her decisions and ringing in the holiday spirit with Jack is looking like a rather dangerous affair.
