Born in the United Kingdom to a Guyanese mother and an English father, Haydn spent his formative years hopping between the Pacific Islands, Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean to the tune of his father’s job. Now based in New York City, Haydn has found the inspiration to write from his fascination with, and ability to become lost in, the worlds of fantasy and sci-fi. It is the perfect escape from his career in corporate finance. He has a particular fondness for dark, character-driven fantasy that explores power, survival, and moral complexity.
