Heather Carter is a neurodivergent author who writes primarily fantasy romance. Composing stories since childhood, she loves all things fantastical, sometimes bordering on the creepy. Her novel, Of Songs and Saltwater, a gender-swapped retelling of The Little Mermaid, debuted in June 2021. Since then, she has published several other works with more on the way. Heather calls the St. Louis area home and lives with her family and an extremely spoiled cat. When she’s not writing, she loves to read fantasy novels, make music, and drink copious amounts of coffee.
