Helen Baggott is a freelance editor and writer. For as long as she can remember, she has loved writing - one of her first pieces of non-fiction was a project about the Outer Hebrides island of St Kilda. Although she was only 12 years old, she dreamed that researching and writing would be a major part of her future life and she has written for local magazines including Dorset Life. She has enjoyed success with fiction and her short stories have won first prize in a number of competitions - beginning with Writers' Forum magazine in the late '90s. Her most recent book, Posted in the Past, is the first in a series of three that's she developing. Second Delivery and Return to Sender will be available soon. As well as talking about her own writing projects, she also runs events for writers - including how to self-publish books. www.stourcastle.co.uk
