I never dreamt I would publish a book in my senior years...or at any age! "Don't Ever Call Me Mother...Homeless In My Own Home" is my first book. I didn't write my story with the thought of publishing it, only to inform my daughter of the abuse I endured as a child. It was after I received my evaluation from my publishing company and input from several people who read my writing that I decided to publish...to be a voice for abused children. In 1967, I was awarded a diploma in psychiatric nursing. Since then, I have devoted my life to being a mother and a wife. Married for 56 years, I do bookwork for my husband's business and am an avid gardener.
