This free short story is an extra to the lesbian sports romance "For the Long Run", the story of Shan, an elite athlete, who literally falls for Lizzie, a fun runner. "Hey Presto" slots in at the end of Chapter 36 but before the Epilogue. As the title suggests, it's as much about Presto the rescue dog's happy ever after, as it is about Shan and Lizzie's.
