He never knew he had daughters. She never stopped protecting them. Now fate and fire bring them home. I came to Laurel Gap to study endangered salamanders, not to dig up the ghosts of my past. Sixteen years ago, I thought Chance wanted nothing to do with me or our unborn children. Turns out his mother lied, and he never even knew about our children. Now he’s back in our lives, all confidence and molten eyes, and my girls want to meet the father I stole from them. I’m terrified they’ll get hurt again, or worse, that I’ll fall for him. I spent years thinking I was cursed to be alone. Then Tash walked into my bakery, and everything inside me, especially my dragon, roared mine. I want my daughters to know me. I want Tash to trust me. But SkyArc’s been sniffing around, and something tells me this reunion’s about to turn dangerous. A second-chance, small-town paranormal romance full of heat, heart, and humor. Perfect for fans of shifters, fated mates, and family secrets with bite. ✔️ Fated mates ✔️ Secret babies / surprise family ✔️ Alpha single dad ✔️ Small-town romance with magic ✔️ Scientist heroine & dragon shifter hero ✔️ Protective family bonds ✔️ Cozy-meets-danger southern setting ✔️ Redemption & forgiveness
