When the bus of minor league hockey team, the Calgary Frostbite, breaks down in the middle of nowhere, the team’s gruff coach, Lou “The Bear” Kowalski, decides to use the unexpected detour as a team-building exercise for his squabbling players. Coach Lou’s grand idea takes his team to Brooks Farm, where they're put to work helping the struggling family prepare for their local fall festival. Holly Brooks is initially relieved to have the help her family so desperately needs fall out of the sky. Or, rather, break down right by their farm. But it quickly becomes clear that a team of hockey players isn't exactly equipped for farm life. Especially Derek, a once-star player with a real knack for getting under her skin. As the team fumbles through farm chores and helps get the festival underway, frustrations fly between Derek and Holly – but so do sparks. Can this unlikely crew pull together to save the festival, the farm, and discover what it means to win both on and off the ice?
