When he came upon the accident scene, he wondered if he would be saving another life or losing one today. As he pulled her from the wreckage, he discovered her barely clinging to life. He was determined to save her from the impending fire and explosion, and cautiously brought her to his house. Saving her would be another matter altogether. He worked through the night, using his skills as an ER doctor to treat her, even though he knew they were too far from a hospital if she needed one. She finally woke up with amnesia, and he had no clues how to help her find her past.
