She is a proven transformational leader, specializing in repositioning brands and transforming organizations at scale. Ms. Rollo is currently the CEO and Principal of Surge Strategies, a strategic advisory firm that helps executives, boards, and investors navigate and communicate through major transformations, including digital and cyber disruptions, cloud pivots, and workforce transformation, to execute new missions or drive hyper-growth. She also serves on multiple boards and as a strategic advisor across private equity, venture capital, and the public sector. Ms. Rollo is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Dell Technologies/RSA and helped lead the successful carveout to Symphony Technology Group from under Dell in 2020. She also led all aspects of RSA Conference, a $50 million business unit that grew profit by 37 percent in its first year under her leadership. Prior to RSA, Ms. Rollo served as CMO at Fortinet, helping the network security company reach $1 billion in revenue. She was also Chief of Product Strategy and CMO at SumTotal Systems (HCM), a Vista Equity Partners company that was later acquired by Skillsoft. She has also held leadership roles at FireEye, which grew from a $5 billion to a $13 billion market cap during her tenure; SuccessFactors (HM), which was acquired by SAP for over $3 billion; Cisco leading SME market strategy; and at SAP, where she helped lead the GTM transformation into the SME market with its first cloud-based ERP platform. She spearheaded repositioning for Sybase leading to its acquisition by SAP for just under six billion, helped drive the utility computing product strategy at Veritas preceding its thirteen and a half billion acquisition by Symantec, and helped lead post-acquisition corporate development and strategic planning at Tivoli after its acquisition by IBM. Ms. Rollo is a speaker and author who has contributed to publications such as Harvard Business Review and Forbes. She is a board advisor and contributing lecturer at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, and she is a mentor and advocate for young women in technology.
