Mark and Jake have broken up after a silly fight, and both are too stubborn to work things out. When Jake witnesses a violent murder, and is arrested by the police as a material witness, Mark sends a friend to bail him out right away, but when Jake takes off on his own in a cross country odyssey to find the real killers, Mark sets out after him. He intends to bring Jake home before he can get into any more trouble, but Jake turns the tables on him and leaves him naked and cuffed to a bed in an Oklahoma motel.
