Never thought I’d agree to a marriage of convenience to my hot, firefighter ex boyfriend. Especially after he casually informs me we’ve been married for ten years. All I have to do is have to pretend in front of the whole town like we’re married. Hold hands. Kiss. Not throw myself at him when he looks at me like I’m the only woman in the world. My body might remember him, but the rest of me isn’t ready. Because I’m just learning how to find myself, and if I get wrapped up in Wilder’s world, I’ll lose more than my heart—I’ll lose everything. On solving my mystery in twelve pages, I decided I was a terrible writer and should never, ever do that again. Fortunately, I didn’t take my own advice. I write romance for that feeling you get at the end, like you’re standing on top of a mountain with a backpack full of hundred dollar bills. I write romcoms because is there anything better than banter and grand gestures? I write because I love to create and I love words. I love books, and I love stretching my imagination.
