Hunt relaxes after returning from Green River and begins to ride with the men on their missions. Hunt gets a tip that a bandit sought after in Georgia is in Denver and Hunt can’t find a wanted poster, so he goes to the Sheriff’s office and finds the poster in Drake’s office. Unfortunately, the sketch on the poster makes it near impossible to find the man. The drawing looks like most of the men in Denver. A train robbery at a water stop near Grand Junction ends in two railroad workers’ deaths. Hunt leads the men on a long journey that ends in a gun battle in a remote canyon. Although Hunt and his men discover it’s not going to be easy getting the bandits out of their hiding location, the bandits have the advantage of an M1841 6-pounder field gun firing explosive ordinance. Gray Wolf comes up with a solution that saves many lives.
