He’s barely holding his family together. She’s trying to rebuild hers from the ashes. When heartbreak threatens their tentative romance, will they fall apart—or fall into something more? Luke Daniels never wanted sole responsibility for managing his family’s Montana cattle ranch, but his hard-drinking father has pretty much checked out. It infuriates Luke that while he’s busting his tail to pick up the slack, his sister’s loyalty to their father keeps her from building a meaningful life of her own. Five years ago, the tragic death of Shannon Halsey’s husband sent her spiraling into a depression, but her faith and the gift of their precious newborn carried her through. Never completing the college journalism degree she’d been aiming for, she’s stuck in a dead-end receptionist job while trying to be the best mother possible for her precocious little boy. When Luke stumbles upon Shannon in dire straits, he finds himself drawn to making sure the pretty widow doesn’t give up on the life she deserves like his sister has. Shannon tells herself she can’t fall for her wannabe hero while her late husband still has claim on her heart, but how can she resist Luke’s kindness or the attention he offers her fatherless son? As friendship inches toward romance, a shocking discovery threatens their dreams of a happily-ever-after. Luke and Shannon must decide if they’re willing to risk falling again—into love, into healing, and into the hands of a God who never lets go. If I Fall for You is an emotionally rich Christian romance about second chances, hard-won forgiveness, and love that mends the deepest wounds.

The Johnsons share their home with two very pampered rescue dogs who don’t always understand the meaning of “Mom’s trying to write.” They’ve also inherited the cute little cat (complete with attitude) their daughter and family had to leave behind when they moved overseas. Awards of note: When the Clouds Roll By, Till We Meet Again, Book 1 (Abingdon Press 2013), won the historical fiction category of the 2014 Christian Retailing's Best Award. Autumn Rains (Heartsong Presents 2009), won the 2005 RWA Golden Heart for Best Inspirational Romance Manuscript. Myra’s writing career was launched in 1985 when she sold her first short story while taking a course through the Institute of Children’s Literature. Myra later joined the ICL staff as a magazine writing instructor, teaching hundreds of students the fundamentals of story and article structure, plotting, character development, and market analysis. She now writes full-time and is active in her church as well as local and national writers groups. Myra and her husband have been married since 1972. The Johnsons have two married daughters and seven grandchildren.
