A once blissful day in an Uber with a beautiful driver turned into utter chaos for Lyfe Miller. Ocean was the driver’s name, and it fit her perfectly. Just looking at her, he knew that her beauty was endlessly deep and behind the allure in her eyes was violent turbulence. She was beyond her curves, chocolate skin, and artistic features. Despite her youth, life had dealt her a bad hand. She had the eyes of a fighter—determined and unafraid. Her pain was evident in the creases of her brow and the natural pout of her full lips. Her amazing eyes revealed a broken soul, fighting to put itself back together. Their chemistry was instant and an explosive inferno. Their kiss was flooded with authentic animalistic passion. It tasted like they were meant to be. He could taste the sweetness of her soul and the bitterness of her past. But some wounds never truly heal and bleed again at the most inopportune moments. Will the wounds of Ocean and Lyfe’s pasts cause their explosive chemistry to fizzle before their opportunity to live happily ever after? * This standalone was previously released exclusively on the author's website as Rideshare Love, but will now be released on Amazon. Though the characters and storyline remain the same, it has been revised and improved with added scenes.

Author of Urban Chick Lit, Erotica, and Contemporary Urban Fiction... Jessica N. Watkins was born April 1st in Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I had written about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins’ chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of women's literature. She hopes that The Epitome of Femistry series will successfully emulate ideal femininity while tackling stereotypes, familiar heartache, and relatable distress in a humorous, sophisticated, and erotic fashion.
