Brina Marley was a clinical psychologist working for the Catholic church to help distinguish between possible cases of possession or mental illness. When the priest who was her partner dies suddenly, she is stripped of her commitments to the church leaving her unemployed and uncertain. But a stranger she meets at the funeral offers her a new case, which will challenge what she thought she knew about her former partner, demonic possessions, and who she can trust.
