India Blake is an award-winning photographer and poet. India’s photography focuses on nature, animals and portraiture and has inspired her extensive travels. Her photographs have been shown in several galleries in the United States and Europe, has been published in Currents magazine and has received awards from the International Loupe Awards, Windland Awards and the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs. Ms. Blake’s most recent book, Captured, is a combined effort of her talents in photography and poetry, earning the Indie Excellence Award, Reader’s Digest Critics’ Pick and received praise from Joy Williams, Joyce Carol Oates and Kirkus Reviews. Currently, she is completing another book, Before the Curtain Goes Up, a photographic journey behind-the-scenes of America’s East Coast community theatres, which explores the transformation from actor to character.
