ADA: Dogwood Falls seems so small to me, after finishing college in urban Greensboro. But after Granny Nona died, the family decided to bring the Inn into the 21st century. That means I’ll be able to use my degree in Hospitality. And I’d be working with my cousins. I love that. Trouble is, my personal life is boring. There are no guys around here that I want to date. Until sexy, annoying Spencer Wilkes blows into town . . . SPENCER: Pretty little Dogwood Falls is ripe for some economic development. When my boss sends me there to scout sites for a new chain hotel, I’m ready to scoop up some undervalued property and prove my worth to the company. But then I fall in love—with this town. And with Ada Barrett. Will my boss’s plans for the area ruin everything? A short, sweet, steamy, curvy girl, enemies-to-lovers, instalove romance. No cheating. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.

GIA: I always had a crush on Boyd Kelly, star baseball player and our high school’s answer to Brad Pitt. He was too popular and important back then to notice little old me, so I pined from a distance. The only time he ever spoke to me was right before he left for college. He told me I was pretty and sweet, and not to sell myself short. It made an impression on me. I’ve held out for a guy who loves me for who I am. Now that Boyd’s given up his baseball career, he’s back in town. I can’t help pining from a distance again. BOYD: Major League Baseball was tougher than I ever thought it would be. It’s time to hang up my bat and glove, unless it’s to coach rec league. I’m okay with that. I’m back home, in the town I love. And when I see Gia Barrett’s still here, prettier than ever? I think I’m going to take my shot. Will she give me a chance?

The Dogwood Inn is a fixture in tiny, tourist-magnet Dogwood Falls, NC, offering overnight accommodation to out-of-town guests and upscale dining to anyone calling for reservations. Nona Barrett’s six granddaughters carry on the family tradition of finding room at the inn . . . and they have room in their hearts for their true loves too. SHARRA: A lot of people might hate their job, if it involved cleaning hotel rooms the way mine does. But I like it. I like making the Inn's guest rooms clean and fresh and welcoming. I could have sworn there wasn't supposed to be anyone staying in Room 5. When I open the door to freshen up the room, I'm shocked to find a naked man in there, carelessly drying his hair with a towel. A gorgeous naked man. No, I have to be honest: a really sexy naked man. I don't know who's more surprised, him or me. Even though I shriek out an embarrassed apology with my hand over my eyes, I can't unsee what I saw. And I can't look Mr. Gorgeous Potential Investor in the face, no matter how many times he tries to tell me there's no harm done. JOHN-LUKE: I'm staying in the delightful Dogwood Inn while I investigate the possibilities of opening a distillery in this small, perfect town. I liked the first room they booked me into, except that it had feather pillows. I'n unfortunately allergic to feathers. So the sweet, dizzy night clerk moves me into the room next door, where the pillows are memory foam instead. The next morning, I'm shocked to have housekeeping walk in on me right after my shower, while I'm standing bare to the air. But maybe I'm not more shocked than the poor housekeeper. I think she might die of embarrassment. And that would be a shame, because she's lovely. I want to get to know her better. Can we get past our first glimpse of each other, and make a fresh start?

Carly writes short romance stories as steamy and sweet as a triple-vanilla latte, served extra hot. If you’ve ever wished that a Hallmark™ movie showed what happened in the bedroom—in glorious technicolor detail—her books are for you! Grab your favorite hot beverage and join her for the fun. She loves chai, homemade mulled cider, Riesling and Beaujolais, and vanilla lattes (iced or extra-hot). She enjoys snuggling under blankets in the winter, and under the stars in summer. Loves kissing Mr. Right in exotic locations, as well as in their very own kitchen. She lives in Virginia with the love of her life and a goofball dog.
