The spirit of a judge pushes JJ to prove a man was wrongly convicted in his courtroom. The search for real culprit will have tragic results, changing JJ’s life forever. Nobody wants to go to jury duty, but everyone gets called eventually. It’s JJ’s turn, and she is not there alone. A spirit is with her, repeating the word innocent over and over. Sitting in the jury box, JJ admits she is a psychic medium who has helped the police solve crimes. She is embarrassed and angered by the murmurs and glares from the other perspective jurors. After being excused by the judge, JJ is startled by an aggressive spirit that appears to her in a way she has never seen, and cannot ignore. Finding the person wrongly convicted will require JJ to do something she swore she never would: go public with being a psychic medium. JJ must correctly interpret each clue from the spirit before it reveals the next one. The hunt for the truth, and proof that the convicted man is innocent, will come at a high cost. JJ’s guilt causes her to question her abilities and forces her to change her approach to redeem herself and free an innocent man from prison.
