It is my opinion that a deeper experience of God is being nurtured in the Vineyard through the contemplative life. Perhaps we can take John Wimber's admonition to "take the best and go!" and extend it beyond the Vineyard, reaching back for the best of the contemplative life—chewing the meat and spitting out the bones. jared patrick boyd from the Introduction to Invitations & Commitments
