J.E. Barrett is a native of Lubec, Maine and a member of the active duty military. Growing up in Downeast Maine he learned the value of a hard days work, honesty, and loyalty. He attended both high school and college in Ohio, earning his degree in Athletic Training and working in that field for five years before joining the Army. 11 years and four combat deployments later he is still there. During his life he's worked in the blueberry fields of Maine, the woods of Campobello Island, Canada, the farms of Ohio, served in the Airborne and seen sunrises over many continents. No matter where he's been or what he's done, it has always been the people he's met who have made the difference. You can't judge people by appearance or the box society has placed them in. People must be judged by their character and the choices they make. Today the author resides on an Army base somewhere in the world with his beautiful wife, awesome son, two cats and a dog. He recently published, "Spilled", which he hopes is the first of many books.
