
J. F. Cicci is originally from Palatine, Illinois. With the support of her parents and their insights into the teaching profession, Cicci wrote Truffle's Sad Song, her first published work, in an effort to inspire children and to help those who struggle with great sadness. Cicci studied Professional Aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Before becoming a writer, she served in the US Armed Forces and separated as a commissioned military intelligence officer, where she trained to become an All-Source Intelligence Analyst. She also has experience working as a Counterintelligence Analyst in support of Obama's 'Insider Threat' initiative. Cicci has lived all over the United States, including Washington, Virginia, North Dakota, and Arizona. She has two rambunctious Siberian Huskies and enjoys reading, dwelling in libraries and used bookstores, hot cocoa, and music.
