JJ Barnes is an author, writer, screenwriter and filmmaker. Her first novel, Lilly Prospero And The Magic Rabbit, was the first release from Siren Stories and launched the universe. Most recently, JJ co-wrote and co-directed the feature film Hollowhood. JJ lives and works from home with her writing partner, Jonathan McKinney, their three children, Rose, Ezekiel and Buffy, their guinea-pig, Supergirl, and their extremely foolish Springer Spaniel, Molly. JJ is a big fan reading books, watching TV, and falling asleep during movies. She drinks too much coffee in the morning, too much wine in the evening, and eats too much cheese at all times.
