John Webster comes from a long line of Philadelphia families. His adventures into the eyesores of the city have earned him the labels "guerrilla historian" and "urban explorer." He and his associates have investigated many of the Philadelphia area's abandoned historical structures. Webster has been featured in several newspaper and online articles and is regarded as one of Philadelphia's pioneers of urban exploration. He has taken hundreds of thousands of photos of his beloved city. Since elementary school, Webster's interest was filmmaking, and he never considered himself much of a writer. But while growing up in Philadelphia, Webster developed a profound interest in the local lore, historic atmosphere and unique culture of the city of brotherly love.
