
Jac Jacobsen was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and raised in eight states and one foreign country (Turkey). His father, Lieutenant Colonel O.F. Jacobsen (Ret), flew for thirty years in the United States Air Force. Jac is a graduate of Northern Arizona University (BSBA 1972, MBA 1977) and served four years active duty as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer. In April of 1975, while serving as the Executive Officer of Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, he participated in Operation Frequent Wind—the evacuation of Saigon—and was on the second-to-the-last chopper out of Saigon. An accomplished pilot, he now enjoys flying T-34s out of March Air Force Base in Southern California. Jac has two children, Brett and Jennifer, and lives in Lake Arrowhead, California. This is his first novel.
