In this first issue of Jake: Vampire Hunter, Jake discovers that he has been cursed with the Sight. An ability to see the half-there's among us: people who are slightly transparent as if they are slowly fading away. Unsure if he's sick or crazy, Jake embarks on a frantic Internet research mission to find out why he's able to see these people only to find that he's not the only one. After a strange encounter with a local shop owner, Jake soon discovers that the Sight enables him to see much more.
