I'm a writer. Good thing, too. Otherwise, I'd be pretty miserable because Living Like Lions required head-spinning amounts of research. But don't be fooled. Behind every writer, there is a reader. And it's the simple act of reading biographies of men who lived before me that inspired me to write, "Living Like Lions." The men you'll read about in my book pushed me to achieve greatness, to live an uncommon life. And I want the same for the men and women who read my book: to be great, to live an uncommon life. For the most part, though, I'm just an average guy. My wife Heather, myself and our terrier Charlie live in Barcelona, Spain. I graduated from Bethel Seminary in 2007 with a Master of Divinity. After seminary, I spent a few months working at Apple and Starbucks before accepting a position as a marketing writer at a private university in Florida. A few years later, I jumped into the journalism world and landed in the lifestyles section of a Central Florida newspaper. I was lucky enough to win a few statewide journalism awards before moving to Europe to begin my dream of opening a faith-based arts center in Barcelona.
