I describe the horror around us that is ever-present in our daily life. It was there yesterday though no one noticed. It is there now, although it will not make tonight’s news. It will be there tomorrow, just out of sight, if you are lucky. This horror has been occurring year after year, ever since the first man picked up a rock as a means to an end. Loose your mind and allow it to race as James clues you in to what your neighbors, your friends, your family, total strangers do in the dark, just outside the edge of comprehension, of reality. It’s bad enough to make you turn away. It’s bad enough to plead ignorance and hide from. It’s bad enough to make you wonder why, or how it could happen. Deep down inside you want to know; deep down inside you don’t. Let my horror shock you today. Join me as I bring these things to light, showing you what some of us already know. Interested in self-esteem, the cause of the cause, first responders, good and bad spirits, vampires, physical therapy recovery, true revenge, the bad guy winning, gold mining in California, serial killers, mental illness, sexual predators, vacations that go south, the end that justifies the means, doing good at all costs, detective crime stories, or everyday life gone bad, then seek me out. James H. Summers was born in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, back in the 1960s. His family moved to Kentucky in the 1970s. James has called Kentuckiana home ever since. He enjoys all things horror, particularly B movies. Some of his favorite authors are Edgar Allen Poe, Clive Barker, J. K. Rowling, Stephen King, J. R. R. Tolkien, Anne Rice, and R. A. Salvatore. A handful of his favorite directors are Quentin Tarantino, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson, Zack Snyder, Chad Stahelski, and someone who would love to make his dreams come true and get these lovely works onto the big screen!
