James Rainsford, the author of 'Education, Edukation, Edukashun,' was born in Kent and attended school in Essex. He spent three years as a seaman in The British Mercantile Marine, prior to attending the University of Sussex, where he read Philosophy, English and History. He also gained an Advanced Diploma in Special Education from The University of Wales. His subsequent career has mainly been in education. He has has been a teacher in both primary and secondary schools and has held senior positions within educational publishing. His most recent teaching position was as Head of Year in a large comprehensive school. He currently lives in Devon UK where he is working on his next novel entitled: 'The Incredible Layla Moon.'
