Known as the "cardiologist by day, novelist by night," James Vitarius began his writing career when his medical research funding dried up. Along with the funding, he lost a creative outlet, so James turned to his childhood dream of becoming a novelist. Trained in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Molecular Biology in some of the finest medical institutions in New York City, James still practices cardiology full-time. He lives in Northern New Jersey and has lived in the Garden State most of his life. In addition to writing and doctoring, James enjoys sports, cooking, music, and visiting the Jersey Shore.
