Janet Stilson lives in two worlds and is passionate about both of them. On the one hand, she writes stories in the sci-fi and fantasy genres that illuminate conditions that are present in the world today. On the other, she’s a journalist who focuses on the business of news and entertainment. One of her feature film scripts, JAGUAR TRAIL, won the competition for the Writer's Lab for Women, sponsored by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. Another script, IMAGINARY CHILDREN, is adapted from her own short story of the same name, which was published by Asimov’s. The sci-fi literary magazine also featured Janet’s narration of the story in a podcast episode. Janet’s novel, THE JUICE, a cyberpunk, dystopian tale about the media industry, was published by Dragon Moon Press in February 2021.
