Jason Purcell is a queer, nonbinary, chronically ill white settler writer and musician from Edmonton, Alberta. They are the author of SWOLLENING, a poetry collection about queerness and sickness, and the chapbook A PLACE MORE HOSPITABLE. They are co-editor of TEN CANADIAN WRITERS IN CONTEXT. They co-own Edmonton's Glass Bookshop.
