Jax Newman lives in the UK, works full time and loves to read. An idea for a story came to her one day and she knew she had to write it. However it didn't happen straight away - it took about 8 months of building up the nerve and then reading the story of a very brave American serviceman who lost part of his leg after serving in Afghanistan. She decided if he could go through so much and still help so many people then she could put on her big girl pants and write a book. So she did, and she's loving every minute of it.
