Jay B. Greene was born, grew up and lives in Sarasota. He studied environmental science and journalism in college and graduated from the University of Florida. His love for stories propelled him into a 40-year career covering health care, government, crime, and the environment for several newspapers across different states. He is the author of Mountain Crossing, Becky and Bone Valley, the first three books in the Jack Kendall Mystery series. He also published two science fiction novels, Danger From Space and Flight to the Stars, part of the Tim and Peggy Smith Space Adventure trilogy. He is working on Jack’s next adventure, Nokomis Hospital and Breakthrough Lies, the fourth and fifth books in the investigative reporter's mystery series.
