Jayden She asked me for help. I had promised to help her but when she showed up I wasn’t there. When she needed me the most she couldn’t find me. Was it my fault? No, did I still feel guilty? Hell yes I did. When Everleigh asked me to act as her son’s guardian while she went to rehab I jumped at the chance to make up for not being there when she needed me. I was already half in love with Everleigh, doing this for her wouldn’t be a hardship and I found I actually liked her kid. I wanted nothing more than to be Everleigh’s everything when she came back. Or as much as I could be while she had a child. I certainly wouldn’t make her choose between us, we could be a family and I wanted that more than anything. The only question now was whether or not I could be enough for her. Everleigh I needed him. He was everything I needed, everything I wanted. He tried to help me, I know he did. He would have been at the clubhouse when I got there if he hadn’t been protecting his sister. I didn’t blame Jayden for not being at the clubhouse that day. I didn’t blame Jayden for Marco finding me and Joey and I certainly didn’t blame Jayden for what happened next. I didn’t blame Jayden for any of it. The question now though, was whether or not I could handle not knowing everything about him. If I could handle him not telling me club business. I knew I should leave it alone, but too much of my life was kept from me in the past and I wasn’t sure if I could handle it for the rest of my life. Or if I could handle it from Jayden.
