J.D. McGowan was born in Tacoma, WA. He enjoys listening to jazz, soul, R&B, and classic rock music. He also enjoys reading literature, westerns, urban fantasy, mystery, historical novels, short stories, flash fiction and comic books, The Secret of Olden Woods and Other Tales is Mr. McGowan's first collection of urban fantasy flash fiction and short stories.
