Jean Stanberry has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She published her first work, a poem when she was just seven years old. Her lifelong ambition was to become a published author. A life changing tragedy and a stay in Scotland only cemented her desire to write. When Jean returned to the states she finished her education, getting a bachelor's degree in Business/Finance and eventually getting her bachelor's degree in Nursing. Raising a family didn't leave Jean much time to pursue her love of writing, but now that both her children are grown she tries to write, at least, two or three days a week. Jean works full time as a surgical nurse and enjoys writing whenever she has free time. She loves living and playing in the Rocky Mountains of Northwest Montana. She has been married to her husband Gary for twenty three years and they have two grown children, Ryan and Lauren. Jean enjoys hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, cooking, gardening and playing with her two dogs, Hailey and Molly.
