After working half her adult life as an American Sign Language interpreter, and then a few more years in the medical field, Jeanie Martin has finally found her calling. Writing is her passion, and she treasures the paths her research takes her. Currently, she has followed that passion to her Irish roots, and is avidly absorbing as much of their language, culture, history and music as she can. Taking outstanding classes in these subjects from CKonLine is helping to feed the fire. Besides learning about Irish history, Jeanie reads. A lot. Janet Evanovich, Dean Koontz, Tom Clancy, Karen Marie Moning…the list is endless. She'll read almost any genre…the only one she stays away from is horror. (She admits this is due to wanting to sleep at night). She is a huge fan of Celtic Thunder, and of its principle singers, Colm Keegan, Byrne & Kelly, Emmet Cahill, Emmett O'Hanlon, Keith Harkin.
