As an "army brat," I began life in Germany and bounced around the world while growing up. I still enjoy traveling—in person and in books. I also love living in Colorado with a fabulous view of the mountains and having a fixed home base. My kids are all grown and gone, so now my husband and I share our lives with two dogs, a flock of chickens, and a garden that can grow really tall weeds.
