Jeremy Shory is an up-and-coming young author, looking to share his passion for writing with the world. He was born on July 6, 1984 and grew up in Orlando, Florida, where he was exposed to whimsical and fantastic adventures–often used as a basis for his writing. His interest in fantasy began at an early age, and he has recently taken a special interest in the young adult fantasy genre. The idea of transporting the readers mind to a magical place and captivating them throughout an entire journey drives Jeremy to keep his imagination churning. I’m a dog-lover. Actually, I love all animals (except spiders – I’m a complete arachnophobe). I’ve had a wide array of pets through my years; the usual dogs and cats, a bird, some fish, hamsters and gerbils, and even a chameleon. I currently have two golden retrievers of my own – Sophie and Lily. I love movies and TV. A few of my favorite shows are How I Met Your Mother (HUGE Jason Segal and NPH fan here), New Girl, Once Upon A Time (probably one of the most cleverly written shows on TV), The Walking Dead (probably the best show EVER), and Grimm. I’m a big fan of period piece movies, especially if they have some action in it. The Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, and Last of the Mohicans are just to name a few. I really enjoy super hero movies as well like Iron Man, Batman, and The Avengers. And don’t get me started on the Harry Potter flicks (especially The Goblet of Fire). But I’ve been known to get down with some sweet Rom-Coms. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Just Friends, and Friends with Benefits are a couple I watch regularly.
