Jerry Overton is head of Advanced Analytics Research in CSC’s ResearchNetwork and the founder of CSC’s FutureTense initiative. Jerry has established big-data-driven decision making as a foundation of CSC research. Jerry’s research in applied predictive modeling has led to advances in predicting the adoption and diffusion of emerging technologies; simulating market reaction to new disruptive technologies; and discovering optimal business partnerships and product development strategies. His expertise in predictive modeling and applied mathematics has made an impact throughout CSC: defining the technical direction for CSC offerings, finding strategic opportunities and teaching predictive modeling to other CSC technologists. Jerry lead a consortium of aerospace and defense companies in developing simulations of distributed fault tolerance for the U.S. Military’s Future Combat System.
