I was an avid reader long before I became a writer and I was a blogger long before I became a novelist. But these days, writing fiction that helps people escape reality for a bit is my greatest joy. My first novel was written at a cramped table at my favorite Starbucks with my infant daughter in her car seat at my feet. These days I tend to write in my cozy little home office with a dog or two under my desk and a cat reading over my shoulder.
